SilverBack enables you to create your own custom branding for the brand images and text used throughout the SilverBack user interface. You can also use this feature to create branding for hosted customer portal solutions, on a per-domain basis.
The procedures involved in branding a Management Domain include:
Click on the branded domain's icon in the Hierarchy pane to select the domain and display its Infopage.
Click on the Edit option in the Actions pane to display the Edit Management Domain form.
Click on the Branding tab, then click on the Enable Branding checkbox. The branding fields become active.
Click on the Logo Image Browse button to specify the logo that appears in upper left of the portal page.
Click on the Login Logo Image Browse button to specify the logo that appears on the login screen.
Enter a Lost Password email address to specify the email address that will receive lost password messages from the login screen.
Enter the Login Screen Contact Text.
Enter the Help/About Contact Text.
Click on the Save button.
You will want to make sure that the branding looks and behaves as you expect. If it does not you will need to make any required changes.
Click on the branded domain's icon in the Hierarchy pane to select the domain and display its Infopage.
Click on the Edit option in the Actions pane to display the Edit Management Domain form.
Click on the Branding tab, then click on the URL to the domain's login page.
Ensure that the Login Logo image and Login Screen Contact text are correct.
Log in as a user in that domain.
Check that the Dell logo appears just below the Session Domain link on the right.
From the Help category page click on the About This Product. link.
Check that the Help/About Contact text has changed correctly.
If anything is incorrect, edit the domain again and correct the branding, then login and check it again.
