You can delete any of the following objects in the SilverBack managed services platform, provided that you have the privileges to do so:
Asset (device, CPU, application, disk, interface, group, etc.)
Policy or Policy Component (Event Monitor, Monitoring Policy, threshold, scheduled report, etc.)
Privilege Group, User or User Group

Use the Delete option with care. Deleting an object in the SilverBack Managed Services Platform is irreversible. Once deleted, the object cannot be recovered by a user. You must contact Dell's SilverBack Managed Services Platform technical support group to restore the SilverBack Managed Services Platform's database. |
Navigate to the object's home report (for example, the Groups report).
Ctrl-click to select the objects that you wish to delete.
Click on the highlighted selections, then select the Delete option.
Click on the object that you wish to delete, then select the Delete option.
A confirmation dialog window appears.

Click on the OK button to delete the object.
Or, click on the Cancel button to abandon the operation.
