You may wish to enable or disable a Monitoring Policy, Monitoring Policy Template, or Policy Component for any number of reasons, including:
Enabling or suspending service for maintenance of a monitored system
Enabling or suspending service for all customers in the Monitoring Policy’s target scope

You can enable or disable one or more objects in a single operation. |
This topic describes the following procedures:
Enable - Activates a Monitoring Policy so that it can start monitoring its targets.
Disable - Deactivates a Monitoring Policy so that it no longer monitors its targets.
Navigate to the object's home report (for example, the Event Monitors report).
Ctrl-click to select the objects that you wish to enable.
Select the More > Enable option.
The display refreshes to the objects' home report, and displays their new Enabled/Disabled statuses.
Click on the object that you wish to make visible, then select the More > Enable option.
