Patch Deployments Report

The Patch Deployments report displays a list of all Patch Deployments that have executed in your managed infrastructure, within the past 12 months. The default time period displayed is the past 24 hours.

Content

The Patch Deployments report contains the following information:

Field

Description

Clicking on this icon in the report displays the object's Infopage.

SIP Id

For internal use only. This field is hidden by default.

Created Time

Indicates the date and time that the Patch Deployment was created.

Completion Time

Indicates the date and time that the Patch Deployment completed a run cycle.

User

Displays the name of the user who initiated the Patch Deployment.

Name

Displays the user-defined Patch Deployment Name.

Description

A user-defined description of the Patch Deployment, up to a maximum of 1024 characters.

Status

Indicates the last known status of the Patch Deployment. Possible status values include:

  • Cancelled - The Patch Deployment has been cancelled.

  • DeployFailed - The Patch Deployment has failed.

  • DownloadFailed - Downloading of the selected patches has failed.

  • DownloadSucceeded - Downloading of the selected patches has succeeded.

  • Failed - Installation of the selected patches has failed.

  • PartiallySucceeded - The Patch Deployment has completed successfully on some targets but not on others.

  • PendingCancel - The Patch Deployment is being cancelled.

  • RebootCancelled - Rebooting of the targeted devices has been cancelled.

  • RebootFailed - Rebooting of the targeted devices has failed.

  • Rebooting - The target devices are rebooting.

  • RebootScheduled - Rebooting of the targeted devices has been scheduled.

  • Running - The Patch Deployment is running.

  • Scheduled - The Patch Deployment has been scheduled.

  • RebootScheduled - Rebooting of the targeted devices has been scheduled.

  • Running - The Patch Deployment is running.

  • ShavlikFailed - The Shavlik engine has failed.

  • Skipped - The Patch Deployment was skipped because none of the patches were applicable to the targeted device, the targeted device was down or the SilverStreak was down.

  • Staging - The selected patches are being staged to the SilverStreak and downloaded to the target device(s).

  • Succeeded - Installation of the selected patches has completed successfully.

  • XMLInputFileGenerationFailed - There was a problem preparing the input file for the Shavlik engine (for example, a disk space issue).

Targeted Devices

Displays the total number of devices that the Patch Deployment targeted at its most recent execution.

Number Successful

Displays the number of devices upon which the Patch Deployment operation succeeded.

Number Skipped

Displays the number of devices upon which the Patch Deployment operation was skipped. This indicates that the devices or the polling SilverStreak were down at the execution time.

Number Failed

Displays the number of devices upon which the Patch Deployment operation failed.

Install

Indicates if the Patch Deployment was run immediately after it was created or edited, or if it was scheduled for later execution. Possible values include:

  • Immediately - The Patch Deployment will run immediately

  • Scheduled - The Patch Deployment will run according to its specified schedule

Install Schedule

Indicates the scheduled Patch Deployment run time.
