Patch Scans Report

The Patch Scans report displays the current Patch Scans, if any, visible from your user account.

There can be only one Patch Scan per Monitoring Policy or Monitoring Policy Template. This avoids bandwidth problems associated with redundant scans.

The Patch Scans report contains the following information:

Field

Description

Clicking on this icon in the report displays the object's Infopage.

Management Domain

Displays the Management Domain name.

Icons

Displays any icon(s) that may indicate attributes of a Patch Scan.

Policy Container

Indicates the Monitoring Policy or Monitoring Policy template that contains the Patch Scan. Not included in all Patch Scan reports.

Name

Displays the name that was assigned to a Patch Scan.

# Targets

Displays the number of systems the Patch Scan targets.

Enabled

Indicates the Patch Scan’s Enabled or Disabled status. This field is hidden by default.

Effectively Enabled

Indicates the Patch Scan’s Enabled or Disabled status. A Patch Scan is Effectively Enabled only if the Patch Scan itself, its parent Monitoring Policy and the original Patch Scan (if from a composed Monitoring Policy Template) are all checked as Enabled.

Visible

Indicates if the Patch Scan is visible to subdomains. This field is hidden by default.

MPT

Indicates the name of the Monitoring Policy Template that contains the Patch Scan. This field is hidden by default.

Description

Displays the Patch Scan’s description, up to a maximum of 1024 characters.

SIP Id

For internal use only. This field is hidden by default.

Domain Id

For internal use only. This field is hidden by default.

Path

Indicates the hierarchy path to the Patch Scan. This field is hidden by default.
