Remote Tasks Report

The Remote Tasks report displays the current Remote Tasks, if any, visible from your user account, including the defaults provided by SilverBack.

This topic provides the following information about the Remote Tasks report:

The Remote Tasks report contains the following information:

Field

Description

Clicking on this icon in the report displays the object's Infopage.

Management Domain

Displays the Management Domain name.

Icons

Displays any icon(s) that may indicate attributes of a Remote Task.

Policy Container

Indicates the Monitoring Policy or Monitoring Policy template that contains the Remote Task. Not included in all Remote Task reports.

Name

Displays the name that was assigned to a Remote Task.

Enabled

Indicates the Remote Task’s Enabled or Disabled status. This field is hidden by default.

Effectively Enabled

Indicates the Remote Task’s Enabled or Disabled status. A Remote Task is Effectively Enabled only if the Remote Task itself, its parent Monitoring Policy and the original Remote Task (if from a composed Monitoring Policy Template) are all checked as Enabled.

Visible

Indicates if the Remote Task is visible to subdomains. This field is hidden by default.

MPT

Indicates the name of the Monitoring Policy Template that contains the Remote Task. This field is hidden by default.

Description

Displays the Remote Task’s description, up to a maximum of 1024 characters.

SIP Id

For internal use only. This field is hidden by default.

Domain Id

For internal use only. This field is hidden by default.

Path

Indicates the hierarchy path to the Remote Task. This field is hidden by default.

File Name

Displays the name of the remotely-executable file.

File Size

Displays the size of the remotely-executable file.

Command Line

Displays the command line to execute.

Result File Name

Displays the name of the result file to retrieve following execution.

Generate Alerts

Indicates if the Remote Task is configured to generate alerts.

Execution Timeout

Displays the Remote Task’s timeout value.

Schedule

Displays the Remote Task’s schedule.
