Each object in the SilverBack Managed Services Platform, be it a device, Monitoring Policy, Event Monitor, alert, etc., has a tremendous amount of corollary information available for analysis, troubleshooting and reporting. Infopages provide you with easy access to both "big picture" and detailed information views for each object.
Infopages consolidate information related to a single object from throughout the system into one easy-to-use page. Each Infopage consists of three basic elements:
Tabs - Clicking on each tab displays information about the object, grouped into specific relationship-based categories. Examples for a device include Summary (the default view), Alerts, Policies, Intel® vPro™, Groups, etc. They provide a quick navigational path to various relationship attributes of an object.
Content Area - Displays the relationship information accessed via the tabs. Examples for a device Summary tab include Attributes, an Availability graph, Description, and Polling Details.
Sidebar - Contains two panes that give you access to:
Actions - Commonly used actions for a selected object. Examples include Edit, Delete, Manage, etc.
Hierarchy - Displays an expandable and collapsible tree widget representing the selected object's place in the system hierarchy. This pane includes an Options icon you can click on to change what objects are represented in the hierarchy.
From a category page, select a Browse link to display a report containing the object type of interest. For example, select Browse Devices from the Assets category page.
In the report, click on the Infopage
icon (
)in the left-hand column for the desired
object to display the object's Infopage.
