A standard, basic level of management of web servers is provided by the SilverBack default Web Server - Basic Monitoring Policy Template, which consists of HTTP and HTTPS server up/down and latency thresholds. But what if you require more in-depth monitoring capabilities?
SilverBack provides you with another template ... the Web Server - Advanced template ... that contains several Event Monitors and Windows Services Monitors to enhance your web server monitoring service.
Best practice for web server monitoring is to create a Web Server Monitoring Policy and then add both the Web Server - Advanced and Web Server - Basic templates to it. Or, you can add them to an existing policy.
