SilverStreak Remote Access Sessions, part of the SilverBack Remediation Pack, are a separately purchasable option that provides you access to a secure HTTPS connection running on any remote system upon which SilverStreak is installed. This connection provides similar functionality to that of a local connection, but its integration with SilverStreak enables remote access to systems for which you have no IP connectivity.
One of the traditional frustrations concerning remote remediation of customer issues is that of physical access to the asset. Often such access is unavailable or denied, rendering timely response impractical.
SilverStreak Remote Access Sessions solve that problem by utilizing a secure HTTPS connection via the remote SilverStreak at the customer premises to gain access to devices on their network which require remediation, but to which you have no IP connectivity from your NOC.
